Grandpas Old Truck

When I was a child growing up in a small rural farm town of Cowan Indian, I would stand up in the seat of my grand paws old Ford Truck. We never wore seat belts or worried much about automobile accidents, his old truck had a shifter on the floor that extended up from the bottom of the floor about 27 inches covered with a shifter knob every time he would shift through the gears, they would grind because transmissions were not fully synchronized for easy shifting. These were happy times when trucks were built like a Sherman tanks and true American Heritage.

Hope you enjoy a ‘BLAST FROM THE PAST’.
